Annette Franks, M.Ed., LPC is a Certified Gestalt Psychotherapist and Licensed Professional Counselor licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board.  She has over 30 years counseling experience working with individuals, couples and families.

Annette has a Private Practice in Columbus, Ohio and is on Faculty at The Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio and The Addiction Studies Institute at The Ohio State University Department of Addiction Medicine - Talbot Hall.  She conducts Relationship Workshops, Empowerment Seminars, Motivational Speaking Engagements, and Counselor and Corporate Training Programs throughout the United States and Canada.  Annette was a Presenter for the 2005 Hazelden Women Healing Conferences presented Internationally by the Hazelden Foundation.

Annette has been the featured guest on numerous TV talk shows and is a noted Keynote Speaker among Corporate America, including Fortune 500 Companies.  She has an extensive background in the field of Energy Medicine, Holistic Health Care Modalities and Addiction.  Annette serves on the Governing Board of Directors for The Institute of Addiction Studies at The Ohio State University. 

Annette also served as the President of the Executive Board of Directors for the Gestalt Institute of Central Ohio, a three-year intensive Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Program for Master and Doctorate Level Practitioners.  She has a passion for life and for learning and it shows in all her workshops and seminars. 

Annette also conducts week long Life Enrichment Retreats open to the public on "Balancing Body, Mind & Spirit" at Pura Vida Spa in Costa Rica and at Maya Tulum Resort at the Ocean in Mexico.
